Over the years, there have been different kinds of stents which came out in the market. The traditional stent is made up of metal or plastic mesh-like material. This stent is commonly used in patients who have a narrowing in their coronary arteries caused by atherosclerosis. Rithron-XR Coronary Stent System – consist of an expandable, slotted, stainless steel tube stent and a stent delivery catheter, which is commonly used to treat patients who have narrowing in their coronary arteries caused by atherosclerosis.
